AI-focused startups are transforming various aspects of our lives by shaping the future of education, advancing healthcare innovations, reinventing collaboration, and more. To assist these startups in scaling rapidly while ensuring responsible development, we are launching the Google for Startups Cloud AI Accelerator. This new program, designed for startups building AI solutions in the U. S. and Canada, builds on the success of our previous AI First accelerators. In collaboration with Google Cloud, this equity-free program offers 10 weeks of hands-on mentorship and technical support to startups that integrate AI into their core services or products. Participants will connect with peer founders and engage with experts across Google.

The program’s curriculum provides access to cutting-edge Google AI tools, such as Vertex AI and Gemini, alongside workshops covering technology and infrastructure, user experience, product development, growth, sales, leadership, and more. Scott Patterson, CTO of Modulo Bio, which focuses on neuroimmunology and is an alum of our accelerator program, highlighted the program's impact on their product development. “This accelerator helped us develop a large language model (LLM) research platform and collaborate with experts in LLMs, cloud, and scientific research, ” he shares. “Our mentors were invaluable in supporting both our technical and fundraising efforts. ” Similarly, BrainLogic AI, a generative AI startup, enhanced their speed and doubled their user base from 1 to 2 million during the program. CTO Nicolas Loeff states, “Google Mentors generously shared their expertise, enabling us to make six months of progress in just 10 weeks. ” Additionally, Aptori, which aids in identifying issues and assessing risks in code, deployed new product features using Google Cloud and Gemini during their participation. The selected startups will be showcased at Cloud Next 2025 in April and the program will conclude in June with a prominent Demo Day, inviting potential partners, customers, and investors. After completion, startups will join the Google for Startups Accelerator community, benefiting from ongoing support and networking opportunities with fellow founders, mentors, and investors. Applications are open until February 4, 2025, and we encourage eligible North American startups to apply and spread the word.
