For instance, if a patient is diagnosed with cancer, AI can assist in genomic sequencing, allowing us to develop a specific vaccine or treatment, or identify which existing treatment is most effective for that patient. " When asked about the timeline for this technology, Stergiou estimated that the first specialized vaccines could emerge in the next three to four years. "It's crucial to recognize that if you input poor-quality data into the algorithm, the output will be poor as well.
This means the medical community must invest substantial effort into organizing that data effectively, and this will be an ongoing evolutionary process.
