The AI assistant acts like an “AI-powered superstar consultant” that supports partner sellers in real time, whispering recommendations tailored to specific customer pain points using a unique combination of enablement information, training materials, and vendor-specific data. The new functionality connects partner sales reps directly to TD Synnex’s $58. 45 billion intellectual property on business outcomes at the exact moment they engage customers, enabling actionable suggestions based on customer data to help win new business. This capability marks a paradigm shift from prior fragmented, offline approaches by distributors, providing critical insights and skills enablement precisely at the point of sale, which Herz calls a breakthrough unmatched in the industry. TD Synnex’s tool also integrates vendor data starting with Dell Technologies, giving partners immediate access to Dell’s programs, rewards, and promotions.
Michael Kanan, chairman and CEO of Inacomp, whose original idea led to the Digital Bridge platform, notes that this AI assistant will accelerate sales motions, allowing reps to engage more customers swiftly and have more strategic, higher-touch conversations that foster better relationships and higher margins. The company has ambitious plans to evolve the agentic AI platform, including creating an AI agent marketplace and supporting partners who want to build their own AI offerings through the open Model Context Protocol (MCP) standard. Rapid development is ongoing, with the platform already downloaded by thousands of partners and hundreds actively using it. CEO Patrick Zammit highlighted the team’s impressive progress—moving from concept to an advanced AI-powered solution within about 18 months—while emphasizing the critical next step: driving widespread partner adoption.
