Market research firm IDC predicts that by 2026, 56% of IT devices sold in China will come equipped with AI engines. DEEPX plans to launch products that align with the mass production schedule of multiple IT devices. DEEPX has unveiled total solutions based on its AI semiconductor source technology, including a live demonstration of its M. 2 module on the open embedded platform Orange Pi. The company aims to capture the Greater China market with its compact camera and M. 2 module products equipped with AI semiconductors, offering world-class power and price competitiveness. DEEPX, led by CEO Lokwon Kim, will be participating in 'ELEXCON 2023', the largest electronics exhibition in Shenzhen, China. At the exhibition, DEEPX will showcase its technologies and products to the Greater China market as part of their efforts to enter the East Asian market. ELEXCON 2023 is a three-day international electronics exhibition attended by leading Chinese manufacturers such as Huawei, Tencent, Alibaba, and Baidu, as well as global brands in AI, IoT, embedded systems, and autonomous vehicles, attracting over 50, 000 technology professionals. During the exhibition, DEEPX will highlight its four-chip product suite, consisting of DX-L1, DX-L2, DX-M1, and DX-H1, which cover a wide range of applications in the Edge AI market. These AI semiconductors can be applied to small sensors, robots, home appliances, smart mobility, and edge servers, showcasing DEEPX's excellence in AI semiconductor technology. Additionally, the company will demonstrate its M. 2 modules running AI algorithms for robots by integrating them with the Orange Pi embedded board. According to IDC, half of the IT devices sold in the Chinese market by 2026 will be equipped with AI engines. DEEPX plans to launch the world's highest-performance AI semiconductors in mass production by 2024, aligning with the mass production lineups of IT device companies in 2025, and tapping into the huge market for edge AI in 2026.
To enter the Greater China market more aggressively, DEEPX has partnered with CoAsia Electronics, Samsung Electronics' exclusive distributor, and deployed business personnel in mainland China and Taiwan for collaboration and cooperation with potential customers. DEEPX currently has over 300 global customers with annual sales of approximately KRW 1 trillion. The company's main sources of revenue are memory semiconductors and CMOS image sensors (CIS), which are essential components for machine vision systems and are compatible with DEEPX's AI semiconductors. DEEPX expects many of CoAsia Electronics' current customers to have a demand for AI semiconductors. In June, DEEPX participated in Computex Taipei 2023 in Taiwan and received recognition for its innovative source technology and commercial potential. The company won the Startup Terrace Awards and a cash prize among 400 global startups at Computex Taipei Innovex 2023. DEEPX plans to continue targeting the fast-growing Greater China market by participating in the International AI Expo, the largest AI exhibition in Chongqing, China, in October. The company aims to preempt the AI semiconductor market in China and Taiwan, which are crucial battlegrounds for AI semiconductor technology. CEO Lokwon Kim stated that DEEPX will participate in various exhibitions and promotional activities held locally at least three to four times a year to strengthen its presence in the market. DEEPX is a leading AI semiconductor technology company with a focus on driving innovation in the evolving edge AI landscape. With its state-of-the-art AI chip product line, DEEPX aims to revolutionize industries such as robotics, smart cities, and surveillance. The company is committed to establishing the industry standard for AI semiconductors worldwide through technological excellence, strategic collaborations, and a global outlook.
