Kavita Gupta Launches Inclusive Layer to Simplify Blockchain Development
Brief news summary
Kavita Gupta, founder of the Delta Blockchain Fund, has introduced Inclusive Layer, a startup aimed at simplifying blockchain application development with minimal coding across various chains. This initiative focuses on breaking down technical barriers and improving liquidity on networks like Ethereum, Solana, Base, Polygon, and Arbitrum. Its first product, Caishen, enables seamless cross-chain trading. As the blockchain landscape expands, the demand for tools that support the creation of decentralized applications (dApps) on diverse networks increases. While existing platforms like Alchemy and Swing cater to some aspects, Gupta identifies a notable lack in cross-chain capabilities, particularly for options and memecoins, leaving developers struggling to integrate systems such as Base and Solana. To tackle these challenges, Gupta has collaborated with Blas Rodríguez Irizar, former CTO of Composable Foundation. The venture is supported by investors including the Delta Blockchain Fund, GSR, and Borderless, positioning Inclusive Layer and Caishen to significantly influence the blockchain ecosystem.Kavita Gupta, founder of Delta Blockchain Fund, is launching a new startup named Inclusive Layer, aimed at assisting individuals in developing blockchain applications across multiple chains without requiring extensive coding knowledge. The initiative seeks to eliminate technical barriers and facilitate liquidity aggregation among platforms such as Ethereum, Solana, Base, Polygon, and Arbitrum, as detailed in a press release. The inaugural application from Inclusive Layer is a cross-chain trading service called Caishen. Offering so-called picks and shovels to simplify blockchain development can be a strategic move, particularly when timed to cater to the influx of newcomers to the industry. Although established players like Alchemy and Swing exist, there seems to be an increasing demand for support in simplifying the development of cross-chain decentralized applications (dapps). In recent years, Gupta has encountered numerous inquiries regarding the creation of cross-chain options, perpetual contracts, and even meme coins, which inspired her to address this growing need. “Everyone is eager to build connections between Base and Solana, ” Gupta stated in an interview.
“However, integrating these two chains is quite challenging. I recognized a significant gap: Why can't people create a solid white-label cross-chain solution?” Gupta, who has a background at ConsenSys Ventures, is teaming up with Blas Rodríguez Irizar, the former CTO of Composable Foundation and a software engineer at ConsenSys, for this new endeavor. Both Inclusive Layer and Caishen have received incubation support from Delta Blockchain Fund, along with backing from GSR and Borderless.
