However, it is now rapidly gaining popularity among gaming communities and becoming a phenomenon. The latest group to embrace the power of Glorbo are players of Destiny 2, with even the game developer, Bungie, joining in. Fans of World of Warcraft, noticing the trend of AI-driven websites aggregating popular topics from social media, came up with a clever strategy. One player wrote a post praising the anticipated "Glorbo" feature, which was actually just a ruse. As expected, a publication called The Portal, affiliated with ZLeague, published an article about the beloved Glorbo, thus creating a meme. Destiny 2 fans caught on to the Glorbo scheme and decided to set up a similar trap. In this context, Glorbo is not a new feature but rather a mysterious secret boss. Fans maintained the fiction in their posts, with one person whimsically claiming, "Glorbo killed my grandma, " and another expressing excitement for the Glorbo fight in the upcoming season. Some even spread rumors of Glorbo's heightened power, comparing it to Oryx, and applauding Bungie's incorporation of Glorbo into the game's lore, including references in the Bungie Store and Destiny 1's grimoire pages. Personally, I embrace our new Glorbo overlords. Glorbo's successful transition from World of Warcraft to Destiny 2 suggests that there may be more ambitious moves involving Glorbo in the future. Perhaps a developer will go as far as introducing their own unique glorbo.

This isn't the first time fans have gotten carried away with creating their own lore. While waiting for Elden Ring, eager players began posting about their imaginary experiences in the game, sharing elaborate fictional details about a non-existent FromSoftware title. Although Glorbo was initially conceived as a trap, it is in line with fans having fun and being silly together. The added bonus of tricking AI websites is just the icing on the cake. The villains in season 2 are exceptionally cool and distinct from anything else on TV right now. Please check your email for a confirmation email and follow the steps to confirm your humanity. Oops.
