Workspace Administrators will soon have the capability to control whether Gemini retains generated responses and user prompts, as well as impose limits on how long this information is stored. Gemini for Workspace has also achieved SOC 1/2/3 and ISO 27701 security and privacy certifications, ensuring organizations feel secure when adopting the chatbot for corporate applications. To further enhance security against threats like malware and phishing, Google is launching a new “Security Advisor” tool that will provide insights directly to IT administrators’ inboxes. This tool features various safe browsing and data protection capabilities for Chrome, Gmail, and Google Drive, and will be made available to paying Workspace customers over the upcoming weeks.
