SINGAPORE, Jan. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- On January 22 in Singapore, Huawei Cloud launched its 2026 Global Sales Partner Policy under the theme "Shared Intelligence, Shared Success. " Charles Yang, Senior Vice President of Huawei and President of Huawei Cloud Global Marketing and Sales Service, unveiled policies focused on building trust, increasing profitability, simplifying collaboration, and promoting partner growth to develop a healthy, sustainable ecosystem. Yang emphasized that the intelligent era offers significant opportunities and challenges. Huawei Cloud aims for systemic innovation, providing top-tier AI computing through its CloudMatrix supernode, pioneering Pangu models for industry-specific scenarios, and hosting a versatile MaaS platform with extensive models and applications. Supported by robust data governance and security, these efforts drive a flourishing ecosystem that accelerates partner growth. Huawei Cloud’s 2026 partner policies ensure business boundaries and market strategies are clearly defined to avoid profit competition, with policies fixed for three years. To enhance profitability, five policy improvements introduce competitive discounts, incentives, and stronger project collaboration, leveraging Huawei’s brand to attract customers and expand markets. Simplified partnerships will benefit from strict cooperation guidelines and anti-corruption measures, plus an upgraded Partner Center offering a seamless one-stop workbench.

Comprehensive growth support includes tiered enablement and practical incentives. Li Shi, President of Huawei Cloud Computing Global Sales, reviewed achievements from 2025, where partner business grew over 50%, and the partner network expanded to more than 4, 000 globally, including over 40 distributors and 50 core/premier cloud solution providers outside China, serving hundreds of thousands of paying customers. Huawei Cloud has redefined customer account classifications and partner roles, maintaining ecosystem stability through incentives, benefits, and regulation, with a fully upgraded partner incentive framework. This framework rests on four pillars: amplifying partner voices via Huawei Cloud's global media; enhancing brand image through over 50 benchmark communication tools; increasing benefits such as a larger Market Development Fund and promotional support; and inviting partners to participate in Huawei Cloud’s global marketing events. Partner enablement is tailored by role: executives engage in exchanges on industry trends, digital transformation, and AI strategy; core teams receive training on operations, insight, and growth strategies; BDs, SAs, and CSMs undergo sales drills and technical workshops to sharpen skills. Dale Chen, Director of Huawei Cloud Asia Pacific Sales Partner Development, detailed Huawei Cloud’s rapid growth in the region, with a compound annual growth rate over 40% in five years and more than half revenue generated through partners. APAC hosts over 50 financial, 200 government and enterprise, and 500 Internet and cloud-native customers across more than 10 countries. Key focus areas include migrating core financial systems to the cloud, enabling AI and XtoB transformation for carriers, and applying AI-enabled efficiency and services for government and internet clients.
