In a groundbreaking effort to enhance digital literacy and prepare future-ready skills, Binance Academy has teamed up with Pakistan’s Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) to launch a nationwide blockchain education program. This initiative aims to train 300 university educators and impact over 80, 000 students across 20 institutions by 2026. This partnership is part of Binance’s Global University Outreach Program (GUOP), the largest blockchain education initiative worldwide, designed to nurture a new generation of Web3 professionals. The project supports Pakistan’s national digital transformation ambitions, establishing the country as an emerging center for blockchain expertise. As per the agreement, university educators will receive comprehensive training in blockchain fundamentals, covering topics such as BNB Chain, Solidity programming, and key Web3 concepts. After certification, these educators will independently deliver the newly developed curriculum. This new program will expand these efforts nationwide, building on previous successes to provide broad access to advanced technology education. Globally, GUOP began in Kazakhstan in 2023 and has expanded to more than 20 countries. Its wider goal is to reach over 200 universities across 50 countries and educate one million students by 2026.
