Introducing a Personalized Approach to Choosing Your Signature Scent iRomaScents, a company utilizing cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology, aims to revolutionize the process of selecting perfumes and colognes in department stores. During an interview with Fox News Digital, iRomaScents co-founders Avner Gal and Erin Berry demonstrated the capabilities of their digital scent generator. Within the device lies a circular chamber containing 45 refillable cartridges, each filled with a unique fragrance. Using the "AI Wizard" application, users are prompted with various questions such as their gender, age, preferred fragrance type, strength, time of wear, and budget. Furthermore, the AI Wizard inquires about scent preferences, including fruity or floral, as well as desired feelings when wearing a fragrance, such as sexy, chic, or fresh. Based on the user's responses, the technology selects one fragrance and provides three backup recommendations. To sample the chosen fragrance, users can simply tap the screen, causing the iRomaScents device to spritz the scent either onto a test strip or directly onto the wrist. The accompanying app can connect to up to three iRomaScents devices at once, providing access to a wide selection of 135 available fragrances. "In a quick and efficient process, you can make a decision without having to interact with a salesperson, " Gal explained. "And you leave with at least one item in hand. " He emphasized the intimate nature of fragrance purchases, stating, "When you shop for fragrances, it's a very personal experience. You don't want any interference. " In addition to simplifying the overwhelming fragrance selection process, Gal highlighted how iRomaScents could enhance efficiency and reduce the need for manual sampling assistance from employees. The iRomaScents AI tool is also accessible for online shopping, guiding users through the fragrance-matching process and directing them to stores where their recommended fragrance is available. Every fragrance preference match-up contributes to the tool's machine learning database, Gal mentioned. Although iRomaScents generators are currently in use at Maison KOSE stores in Tokyo, Japan, the company plans to introduce them in U. S.

stores in the near future. According to the co-founders, the public has been incredibly impressed by the device. At trade shows, almost 100% of users who tried the device expressed intentions to purchase the recommended fragrance, Berry revealed. Looking ahead, the co-founders envision potentially using the iRomaScents device in diverse environments beyond commercial retail. They proposed educational settings, such as classrooms or museums, where scents could be incorporated into lessons. Additionally, Gal suggested implementing the device in movie theaters to provide an immersive cinematic experience. Moreover, the iRomaScents device could have the potential to assist individuals with anosmia in identifying different scents.
