With over 21 years of technology sales experience, Mr. McGuinness has a strong track record in building and scaling sales teams at early and growth-stage companies. Since joining Nextech, he has strengthened the team by hiring two additional sales professionals, completing a fully staffed sales organization that comprises long-standing Nextech members and new hires. The existing sales team includes a senior sales leader with ten years' experience (five at Nextech), a sales assistant with five years at the company, a sales engineer with four years' tenure, one seasoned sales representative, and two junior sales representatives. Evan Gappelberg, CEO of Nextech3D. ai, highlighted that McGuinness’ appointment enhances sales leadership during a critical execution and revenue growth phase. McGuinness’ expertise in cultivating disciplined sales teams and scalable processes complements the institutional knowledge of Nextech’s existing sales force. Previously, McGuinness was a founding salesperson at GeoTrust Europe (acquired by VeriSign), developed sales teams at SPSS Europe before its IBM acquisition, helped launch INXPO’s virtual event technology sales, was part of LinkedIn Sales Navigator’s founding sales team, and significantly grew YCharts’ revenue from approximately $1. 6 million to $20 million prior to its 2020 acquisition.

He has trained over 150 sales professionals, recently leading bootcamps that placed more than 20 junior sales representatives in 2025.
