Polestar is set to launch its debut AI smartphone, constructed with aerospace-grade aluminum and crystal-polished glass. The unveiling is scheduled for April 23rd, 2024, at the Polestar Brand Night event in China, alongside the Synergy concept car. Before the official reveal, Polestar's Chinese division provided a sneak preview of the AI smartphone, showcasing its sleek glass back and four cameras. The device boasts a shockproof design, thanks to its NP66 aerospace-grade aluminum frame, which also offers anti-deforming properties. The backside of the phone is adorned with crystal-polished glass, creating a reflective surface that accentuates the design. The AI smartphone has a texture reminiscent of terrazzo stone and incorporates electroplated gold accents throughout, including the circular frame of the rear camera and the tray pin.
The large 21:9 display features 2K visual quality and a screen-to-body ratio of 91. 5%, providing an immersive viewing experience. The AI functionality is expected to optimize the user experience and simplify app usage and settings. The AI smartphone is a collaboration between Polestar's global design team and smartphone manufacturer Meizu. The design elements of the AI smartphone, such as the gold accents, align with the upcoming Polestar 4's seat belts and brakes. The intention is for the AI smartphone to complement the intelligent cockpit of the Polestar 4 upon its release. More information about the AI smartphone will be revealed at the Polestar Brand Night event on April 23rd, 2024. Name: AI smartphone Company: Polestar
