The new alliance, named Stargate, intends to build vital data centres and computing infrastructure necessary for advancing artificial intelligence development, and according to Trump, will create over 100, 000 American jobs “almost immediately. ” This announcement represents one of Trump’s first significant business initiatives since his return to office, occurring as the US seeks innovative strategies to sustain its competitive advantage over China in AI technology. “China is a competitor; others also pose competition.
