The Air Force is also working on AI-powered navigation systems that do not rely on satellites to address concerns about satellite vulnerability in times of war. Instead, they are exploring using the Earth's magnetic fields for navigation. While AI has its limits, with the need for human supervision and learning being restricted to ground simulations, it is constantly evolving. The Air Force hopes to develop a fleet of 1, 000 unmanned aircraft using AI technology.
