OpenAI didn't copy Scarlett Johansson's voice for ChatGPT, records show - The Washington Post

Last year, OpenAI published a casting call for a confidential project to give OpenAI's well-received ChatGPT a human-like voice.

The flier specified certain requirements: the actors should not be part of a union, their voices should sound aged between 25 to 45 years, and most importantly, their voices should possess qualities of being warm, engaging, and charismatic.
