S. talent pool and advanced computational technology, Lehane acknowledged China's rapid advancements due to its authoritarian governance, particularly in energy and data collection. Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute (US AISI) to enhance national security and competitive positioning. This framework would facilitate collaboration between tech companies and the government, allowing for assessments of U. S. capabilities relative to other nations. Lehane criticized potential EU-style regulations as detrimental to America’s competitive standing, aligning with the Trump administration's preference for AI deregulation.
