While I don't believe claims that this technology will completely revolutionize education (most of those making such bold statements lack firsthand experience in the classroom), it can certainly have a significant impact on our teaching methodologies. As I've mentioned in previous posts, I don't anticipate AI to drastically improve schooling overall (except, perhaps, for second-language instruction), but it does possess the potential to make things much worse if we educators fail to adapt.
