An opening is bookable. A noise is not.
Some pool work is a form and some of it is a diagnosis. Opening a pool for the season is a known visit on a known pool, and the person asking for it is happy to pick a date and get on with their evening. "There is a noise coming from the equipment" is not that — it could be twenty minutes or it could be a replacement, and nobody finds out from a dropdown menu. Letting both book the same slot is how a half-hour appointment meets a half-day job.
The unknown pool is the problem, not the unknown customer
A stranger requesting weekly service is describing a pool you have never seen: its size, its equipment, how far it is from the last stop on the run. Two of those decide the price and the third decides whether you can take it at all. A booking taken without them is a commitment made on assumptions.
What goes straight on the calendar, and what comes to you
Work with a shape you already know books directly: a seasonal opening or closing, a repeat visit to a pool on file, any service type where your scope is fixed. Anything that needs looking at first — a new plan on an unseen pool, an equipment noise, water nobody can explain — is captured with the address, the equipment and the symptom, and arrives as a request to price rather than a slot already taken.
You set the line
Which service types are bookable, how long each takes and how far ahead the calendar opens are yours to decide, and you can move that line whenever the season changes. Neuron then applies it the same way every time, rather than leaving it to whoever happened to answer.
Online booking — FAQ
Can somebody start a weekly plan online?
Where you have made that bookable, yes. Where the pool has not been seen, it arrives as a request with the details you need to price it instead.
How does it stop a stranger booking a repair as a routine stop?
Service types you have not made bookable are captured as requests, with the equipment and symptom written down for you to schedule.
Do online requests arrive differently from phone calls?
No. Both become the same job with the same details, so you work from one list rather than two.
Can I open bookings only for certain days?
Yes. Your working days and how far ahead the calendar opens are settings, and the page will not offer a slot outside them.
