Nobody already has a roofer.
A household has a plumber and probably a lawn service. It does not have a roofer. When something goes wrong overhead, the caller is starting from nothing — a search, three names, and whoever picks up. There is no relationship to fall back on and no loyalty to lose, which cuts both ways: the company that answers is the company that gets to look at the roof, and the one that looked is usually the one that quotes.
First answered is most of the sale
The sequence in this trade is short and it starts at the phone: whoever answers gets the inspection, whoever inspects writes the estimate, and whoever wrote the estimate is the one the household compares everyone else against. Being second to pick up is not a smaller share of that job — it is usually none of it.
Every hour answered the same way
Neuron answers at eleven at night the way it answers at eleven in the morning: what address, what the caller can see, and how soon they want somebody to look. A leak reported now and a replacement somebody is planning for spring are recorded as different things, so the urgent one is not filed behind the patient one. The address and what was said arrive together, ready to book.
The line answering does not commit your crew
You still decide who is dispatched and when the roof is walked. Nothing is priced on the call, and no crew day is promised — the point of answering every hour is that the request is yours in the morning, not that somebody is sent out at midnight.
24/7 answering service — FAQ
Do people really call about a roof at night?
They call when they notice, and a roof announces itself in the dark and in the rain. The bigger reason for full cover is simply that there is no incumbent to wait for — an unanswered call is a household starting over with the next name.
How is this different from just forwarding to my mobile?
A forwarded line still depends on a person being free and awake. This answers on the first ring every time and writes the address and the description down, so no call depends on who happened to be holding the phone.
Several people call at once after bad weather. Does it cope?
Calls are not queued behind one another, so people calling in the same minute are all answered rather than dropped into voicemail together.
Will it tell someone what a repair costs?
No. It captures what they can see and books a look; the number stays yours, after somebody has actually been on the roof.
