Every backflow test you did has a date on it.

Irrigation is one of the few trades where the next job is already dated. A backflow test done last April is due again this April. A system you winterized in October has to be started up in spring and shut down next autumn. You are not looking for demand — the demand is written in your own records, and it goes to whoever contacts the household first.

The record exists and nobody reads it

Test dates, controller models, zone maps and last-service notes live in a folder, an old scheduling app or a technician's memory, and none of those raise their hand in March. Meanwhile the customer gets a notice, searches, and books with the first company that answers — from a system somebody else installed.

Keep the record, and stop the calls leaking

Neuron answers the calls that would have been missed during the rush and takes requests from your site, so new demand stops draining away. What is recorded against a property — the zone map, the controller, when it was last tested and serviced — stays attached to that address instead of ageing out of a notebook. On top of that it builds local pages for repair, testing and seasonal work, built to be found in local search.

Reaching out is still your decision

Contacting last year's customers, and what you say, stays yours. Nothing is sent that you have not seen and no price is quoted for you — what changes is that when you want the list of who is due, it exists and it is right.

Is this about finding new customers or keeping old ones?

Keeping first. A household whose system you already know is the cheapest work in this trade; local pages add to that rather than replacing it.

My test dates are in a spreadsheet. Does this help?

Everything that comes in through Neuron is kept against the property it belongs to, so the record builds from here regardless of what the old spreadsheet looks like.

How does it help during the rush weeks?

The rush is when calls are missed, and a missed call in those two weeks is usually a customer for the whole year. Answering them is the largest single leak this trade has.

Will it promise me a number of new customers?

No. It stops the demand you already have from leaking and puts pages in front of people searching locally — a promised number would be a guess.
