Round the clock, and the hardest hours are the ones you work.
Most people picture round-the-clock cover as a night thing. For a cleaning business it is not. The hours you cannot answer are the ones between nine and five, when every pair of hands you have — yours included — is inside a property. Weekends are the other half: a lease handover falls on a Saturday and the tenant is calling everyone in the results. Neuron covers the whole week, not the leftovers of it.
Cover means the working day too
A cleaning business is unusual in that its busiest phone hours and its least answerable hours are the same hours. Commercial walkthroughs get scheduled around a tenant's own weekend. A residential enquiry comes in mid-morning while you are on a job. There is no back office picking up in between, because everyone is on a property.
One behaviour, every hour of the week
Neuron answers the same way at eleven on a Tuesday as it does at eight on a Sunday. It takes what the caller wants cleaned, the property and the timing they are working against, and writes it down as a job for you. Nobody hears a different greeting depending on when they called, and nobody is told to try back during business hours.
The week's shape stays yours
Answering every hour does not mean working every hour. You set which days you take work and how far ahead the calendar goes; Neuron collects the request and marks what falls outside it, so a Sunday caller is heard without a Sunday visit being promised on your behalf.
24/7 answering service — FAQ
Is this only useful for emergency trades?
No. For cleaning the value is the working day — the hours your whole crew is inside properties and nobody can reach a phone — plus weekends, when move-out and walkthrough enquiries cluster.
Does answering at the weekend mean I have to clean at the weekend?
No. The call is taken and written down; which days you actually work stays your setting, and a request outside them reaches you as a request rather than a commitment.
Will callers know it is not me?
They hear a receptionist for your business that answers immediately and knows what you clean. It never claims to be you, and it never invents a price or a promise.
What about the same caller trying twice in one day?
Each call is written down with what was said, so you can see the second attempt and what changed rather than piecing together two voicemails.
