Accessibility
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Neuron Expert builds tools that small service businesses and their customers use to get work done. A booking form that a screen reader cannot complete is a job that does not get booked, so accessibility is part of whether the product works, not a separate project.
Our target
We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA on neuron.expert and on the customer-facing sites the product generates. We are stating a target rather than certifying conformance: these pages are generated, no independent audit has been carried out, and a conformance claim we have not verified would be worth less than an honest one.
What is in place
- Semantic landmarks and headings, so a screen reader can move by structure rather than by guesswork.
- Keyboard operation for navigation, forms and dialogs, with a visible focus ring.
- Text alternatives on meaningful images; decorative artwork is hidden from assistive technology instead of being announced.
- Text that resizes and reflows down to a 320 px viewport without a horizontal scrollbar.
- Form fields with real labels and errors that are announced, not only coloured.
- Pinch-zoom is never disabled.
Where we know we fall short
Some marketing sections use colour contrast on secondary text that is close to the AA threshold rather than comfortably past it. Interactive 3D and map visuals have no equivalent non-visual presentation; the information they illustrate is stated in the surrounding text. Video has no captions yet, because there is no video yet.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this site or of a site built with Neuron keeps you from doing something, please tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way — email [email protected] or use the contact page. We answer accessibility reports first, and we will tell you what we can fix and when.
