Drain Cleaning software
Drain work arrives as an emergency and leaves as a record: what was cleared, with what, and whether the line will do it again. The calls come while the tech is on their back under a cabinet, and the answer a customer remembers is the one from the last visit nobody wrote down.

AI receptionist
The receptionist answers backups that are already spilling, called in while the tech is under somebody else's sink, asks what the job needs and books it into the CRM with the caller's details.
Caller
“The kitchen sink is full of gray water and the other side fills up every time I run it.”
Caller
“Water is coming up through the floor drain in the basement right now.”
Caller
“Every toilet in the house gurgles and the tub drains slow at the same time.”
Caller
“We had this line snaked in March and it's clogged again — can someone put a camera down it?”
Caller
“There's a sewage smell in the laundry room and the floor drain won't take any water.”
Caller
“There's a big maple out front and the toilet backs up every spring — is it roots?”
Built for drain specialists, not generic field service

All the pieces. Working together.
Whatever the hour, the AI receptionist picks up, finds out whether water is still rising and which fixture it is coming up through, then books a rush visit. Dispatch opens the schedule to a backup already marked, the fixture named on its job card.
The dispatcher checks the schedule for who carries the jetter and who has the cable machine on the truck today, then assigns whoever is closest. The technician gets a job card naming the fixture and the cleanout location.
Before the technician pulls up, the job card shows every past visit to this address: which line clogged, where the cleanout is, what cleared it last time, and whether a camera inspection flagged roots.
The technician attaches the camera footage and a short finding — distance, pipe material, what was found — to the line record. The dispatcher and the next tech watch the same video instead of asking for someone's phone.
The technician writes the jetting estimate on the same job as the camera footage, so the customer approves a root cut against what they saw on screen. The office turns the approved estimate into the invoice.
The technician opens the job in the field app before lifting the cleanout cap: address history, last camera finding, which access point worked. Arrival, footage and the customer's sign-off go back to the record the dispatcher sees.
In the CRM
| Step | What the dispatcher sees | What the owner availability sees |
|---|---|---|
| 1Call | A new request with the caller, the reason and address and access notes, which line and access point, camera inspection findings and repeat-clog history, plus the call transcript. | Nothing yet — the request is not assigned to a owner availability until it is booked. |
| 2Record | The customer record: line & camera inspection records, notes and the job history. | The same record, before the visit — what was done last time and what the caller said. |
| 3Job | The job on the calendar — same-day windows for active backups, camera visits booked longer, and repeat addresses that want the same tech. | Assigned to the business owner, with the address, the reason and the arrival window. |
| 4Invoice | The invoice and payment link on the same job, with the Payments department from Copper. | Marks the job complete; the invoice goes out from the same record. |

A drain company sells two lengths of visit and has to schedule both from the same phone. A clog that is spilling onto the floor wants a same-day window and forty minutes with a cable machine. A camera inspection is a booked appointment that runs long, because somebody is going to be down the cleanout footage by footage. Neuron Expert is free drain cleaning software that keeps that distinction in the schedule instead of in somebody's head — same-day slots for active backups, longer blocks for camera work, and jetting or root cutting sent to whoever actually has the jetter on the truck.

It becomes a booking in a same-day clearing window, and the property record travels with it — where the cleanout is, what the line is made of, whether this address has backed up before. The tech reads that before arriving rather than working it out at the door.
Yes, and it should be. A clearing is a short window; a camera inspection is a longer block with the footage written up afterwards. Booking them as the same appointment length is how a day of camera work quietly eats three clog calls.
The dispatch board is where you say so. Jetting and root cutting are assigned to the technician whose truck carries that equipment, instead of a same-day slot being filled by somebody who has to come back with a different vehicle.
